Queen Street West remains one of the trendiest and most popular spots in Downtown Toronto. 12 Degrees Condominiums recently launced their VIP event and previewed their pricing and floorplans, and I have to say it looks very impressive.
Earlier in the month, BuzzBuzzHome ranked 12 Degrees as their #1 “Hottest Residential Development in Toronto”, and it’s easy to see why. One of the ammenities that appears to be grabbing all of the attention is the rooftop pool and cabana (see pic) that fits the “Trendy Queen West” vibe oh so well.
Price per square foot is approximately $600 per square foot, and is in line with current real estate prices in that area. Real Estate Appreciation in the past 5 years has been approximately 10% per year in this area (please contact us if you want more information on how we calculate this), which is double the GTA average of 4-5%. Based on these two factors alone, as well as the early hype that this project has received, we believe it to be one of the best developments available right now. Perhaps the only “concern” would be that this marks the BSAR GROUP’s first project downtown, and they remain a relative unknown.
Part of what makes Queen West unique is the draw of smaller, “Boutique” style buildings – and this is no different. Only 90 units will be available. One of the major benefits of course, is that you are sharing the amenities with far less people – including the rooftop pool and cabana!
