Vista Heights Public School is a highly regarded French Immersion Public School located at 89 Vista Blvd. in the city's west-end. Vista Heights is considered the pride and joy of the west-end of the city with its high quality teaching and consistently high grades. Many newcomers to Mississauga buy real estate within the Vista Heights school borders simply due to the high quality and reputation of the school. The Fraser Institue, in 2008-2009, ranked Vista Heights as the #2 ranked elementary school in Mississauga (Behind only Kenollie Public School), ranking it at 8.5/10 (Any school scoring over 7.5 on the Fraser Institute is considered a high quality school). Since then, the Fraser Institute has updated rankings for only those elementary schools that include Grade 6. Vista Heights only goes up to Grade 5, so the most recent Fraser Institute rankings are not available. However, we can also use the reliable and independent EQAO (Education Quality and Assessment Office) rankings to compare schools. As you can see below, Vista Heights continues to score very highly compared to the provincial standards.

SCHOOL BORDERS:
The Peel District School Board is very strict regarding their school borders. Being across the street could be the difference on which school your child will attend. If you are purchasing your home based on the quality of school, it is very important to make sure that you are buying within the school boundaries. The school boundaries below are as of June 28th, 2010 – please contact us for updated boundaries.
NOTE: The red line indicates the borders for the French Immersion program. The blue line indicates the borders if your child is not enrolled in the French Immersion program. View Vista Heights School Boundary in a larger map
